Resting on the edge of the quaint Lincolnshire village of North Somercotes, just a two-minute drive from the coast, lies this delightful, two-bedroom holiday cottage, The Granary. Set over two floors, enjoying off-road parking, great access to nearby amenities, and superb positioning to the nearby Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Granary welcomes four guests and their well-behaved pet for a relaxing, self-catered escape. Step into your new home-from-home, which is a 18th-century barn conversion that retains all its original charm and make yourself at home by rustling up a hearty, home-cooked meal in the well-equipped kitchen area; savour your culinary delights around the dining table, before settling down to enjoy a film on the Freeview-enabled, flatscreen TV in the tastefully-laid out sitting space.
In warmer months, bring a glass of your favourite beverage out into the private patio, complete with garden furniture where you can catch up on the day's events with your loved ones. When sleep calls, two plush bedrooms, a double and a twin, await to transport you to a night of well-earned rest. Perfect any time of year, enjoy a stay to remember by booking The Granary.
The coastal village of North Somercotes rests in the East Lindsey district, within the marshes area of Lincolnshire. Within the village there are several amenities including a convenience store, two pubs, Axe and Cleaver, and Bay Horse Inn, serving a selection of food and drink, and Gigi Italian Restaurant & Takeaway. Regarded as the capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds, Louth is eleven miles away, with its Georgian streets with Grade II listed buildings, St James Church, a theatre, museum, shopping facilities and a vast assortment of eateries. Slightly further along the coast rests Mablethorpe, a bustling seaside town home to a sandy beach and choice of attractions, and Sutton on Sea, an unspoilt village with a good range of independent shops and Blue Flag award-winning beaches. Further inland rests Market Rasen Racecourse where you can enjoy a bustling race day during the racing season, whilst the Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve is a must for those outdoor enthusiasts.
