Guests have praised Salem View for its excellent accommodation, quiet yet convenient location, and added luxuries such as a private hot tub. The property is appreciated for its cleanliness, cosy comfort, and the welcoming touches provided by the staff. While some minor maintenance issues were noted, the overall experience is reported to be peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The cottage is generally described as spotlessly clean, with only a few isolated comments about a stained sofa and a high chair that needed exchanging. The positive remarks about cleanliness far outweigh the negatives.
The location is highly praised for being quiet, scenic, and close to local amenities, with easy access to Skegness and surrounding attractions. The proximity to the river and the village adds to the charm.
Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of a cosy, warm cottage and a secure garden for dogs. However, some guests found the pillows too soft and the sofa stained, which suggests room for improvement.
Facilities like the hot tub are a highlight, but several maintenance issues such as door locks, paintwork, and a broken oven handle were reported. Quick resolutions to problems were noted positively.
While guests appreciated the welcome pack and the helpfulness of the staff, there is no specific mention of gifts that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

Excellent accommodation loved it!. Quiet location but close to shops and pubs, within walking distance. Wainfleet itself is good value for money not ripoff prices like the Yorkshire Dales and Northumbria.

We absolutely loved this little warm, cosy cottage with it's own private hot tub as a added bonus. Perfect location for walks, pubs, shops and close to the train station for trips into Skegness. Nice little front garden which was perfect for the dogs. Whenever we're back this way we will definitely be booking Salem view.
