We stayed at Sycamore Lodge with my husband, our 2 year old son, and my inlaws, and it was absolutely wonderful. The cottage itself was beautiful, spotless, cozy, and full of lovely little touches like complimentary wine and nibbles that made us feel really welcome. The garden was a huge bonus, especially with a toddler, with plenty of space to play and explore safely. Inside there were games and thoughtful details that kept everyone entertained and comfortable.Phil gave us a personal tour when we arrived, which was such a nice touch and made us feel right at home. The location is great too, and we never had to travel more than about 30 minutes to reach any of the attractions we visited.Overall our holiday here was fantastic. We would happily come back and would highly recommend Sycamore Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing and family friendly getaway.

Had a great stay, everything was good, working, and clean, and new condition. Plenty of kitchen utensils and linen. Good safe garden for the dog. The building was nice and warm, and it was the best appointed holiday cottage we have come across. The local village is devoid of any facilities so a drive out is necessary.
