We had a lovely short stay in the Lodge in the Woods. The generous (and delicious) welcome pack provided by the owners was a lovely surprise. It being mid November we made good use of the log burning stove which really makes the Lodge a cosy place to be. The setting is ideal, private, picturesque but accessible. Looking at the wooded garden we can see how enjoyable it would be sitting out on warm summer evenings - so we'll have to revisit in warmer weather. There is a lot to see and do in the area. We would warmly recommend this cottage.

We loved the Lodge in the Woods. It had everything you could possibly need. The location was wonderful so peaceful and quiet. We had a quick visit from a Muntjac Deer, with squirrels and rabbits too. We would not hesitate to re book this accommodation again in the future.
