The lodge is very nice. Thae park is also nice and clean and well maintained. However we were very shocked that there was an £80 charge for a pass into the club house. As we refused to pay this we used the pub just outside the park which is dog friendly, serves lovely food and has nice staff that made us very welcome. There's not alot arround the local area.

My first impressoons on arrival were not good. The lodge is covered in cobwebs which gives it an unloved appearance. The description given by cottages.com says there are some steep steps. There is a ramp or three steps into the property and a step into the back garden. There was no welcome pack. It is quite dark in the property because it is surrounded by trees. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge freezer, hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher which unfortunately was faulty, however I reported it to the owner. The kitchen utensils are a bit sparse. The beds were comfy, the walk in shower was great. The hot tub was secluded which was fabulous. The back yard is covered in leaves and the paving has a green growth on it which is only to be expected given the amount of trees. Unfortunately we did not have a great view of the jets but we could certainly hear them.
