Lepus Lodge is situated adjacent to the county showground and within 3 miles of RAF Scampton, home of the famous Red Arrows display team. Doddington Hall, Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest, Hemswell Antique Centres and the coast are all in easy reach. Use of a tennis court and easy walking. Shop 3 miles. Pub 2½ miles.

From the moment you arrive, it feels like a proper escape—quiet, private, and surrounded by nature, yet still within easy reach of local attractions.The cabin itself is beautifully presented: spotlessly clean, warm, and thoughtfully furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It strikes that perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. The bed is incredibly cosy, the living space inviting, and the kitchen well-equipped for easy self-catering.One of the real highlights is how tranquil it feels. Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee looking out over the surrounding landscape or settling in for a quiet evening, it’s a place that encourages you to switch off completely. Even on colder days, the excellent heating makes it feel wonderfully snug.Lepus Lodge is ideal for a short break. If you’re looking for somewhere to recharge, with comfort and calm in equal measure, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended.

Lovely lodge, we chose to stay in here after staying in the Lindley Log Cabin last year and had a superb weekend break. Very peaceful, surrounded by nature and lovely facilities inside the lodge.

A return visit for us as we stayed October 24. It's just perfect for a peaceful break. The lodge is comfortable, clean and well equipped. We were lucky with good weather and were able to enjoy a coffee on the terrace. Daughter is at Lincoln uni and chose to visit for her birthday. Will definitely be back. Lovely bottle of wine and box of brownies left - thank you, a lovely surprise
