The owner engaged with me before and during our stay. The site is much smaller than the info would suggest with the ' lake' being more if a pond and the cabins are closer together than they look in the photos. I was however disappointed with the reaction from the owner when the shower in the main bathroom was broken . The owner did respond quickly but was unable to fix it during our stay. I was dismayed that her texted response to me was that the bath still functioned! ( Unfortunately 1 of the guests with mobility issues could get into a bath but would not have been able to get out.) True, there was an ensuite but using it felt like encroaching on the private space of other guests Luckily we were a group of very good and established friends. We had a great time.

The owners had thought of everything so even if we had forgotten something, it was there. The property was very clean and tidy. It was lovely and warm and very homely. The owners we fantastic, they contacted us with lots of information and were extremely helpful and always available if needed. Overall, lovely property and a lovely environment. We had a lovely and rested time. We would certainly go back again.

Amenities were great so easy to use. Owners kept in touch. Would recommend to others. We would stay there again. Hot tub was great. Not enough radiators. Is the only downside but wasn’t a major issue.
