Be welcomed into the large open plan living with views to the front flow into the kitchen with breakfast bar and also the galleried hallway. This is the heart of the property with an inviting atmosphere and comfortable ambience, creating the perfect place not only to enjoy homely meals rustled up in the well-equipped kitchen, but enjoying them and cosying to reminisce over the day’s adventures as it draws to an end.

Overall very enjoyable week for all family of mixed ages. Pity grass hadn’t been mown. Jodie looked after us very well. Pointed out one or two things which he is going to deal with. Would definitely book again.

Generally the house is nice and there is plenty of space, kitchen well catered and place is spacious. Outside space is good. Clean on surface level however light in living room full of dead flies and clearly hasn’t been cleaned in some time, none of the television remotes work and some not even have batteries in them , toaster is dated very slow and frustrating when such a large group.

The accommodation is fantastic but some things let it down. The good - the barn is furnished well for a group of 12 people. It has all the facilities you would expect. The location is very quiet and secluded, with a local town within walking distance. Handy for a local CO-OP & Butchers. The bad - in particular cleanliness. Free standing Fridge had a spillage from previous use, not cleaned. Furniture in living room was marked and unclean. Towels need refreshing as they are tough and bleach marked. One bath May looked like it hadn’t been washed. I had to contact Fraser twice. Once to get the hot water to work. The other to ask where the BBQ was (there wasn’t one). He said he would drop one off for the Saturday evening, so we bought meats etc from the local butchers. It never arrived. All in all a very nice place, but needs some attention to detail.
