Warm and helpful welcome on arrival that signposted us towards plenty of fun things to do with the kids locally. Very spacious with two living areas (one for dining, one for decamping to watch TV and read), wonderful double-sized bunk bed with large gaming space underneath, and double beds in the other two rooms. Now our daughter wants her own sofa in her room just like the room at Mayfield.Great little touches include the pear tree outside the cottage (fruiting when we arrived), and the timber frames throughout giving a log-cabin effect. Would definitely visit again.

Great secluded spot. Not a lot to do locally but we knew that and we were just looking for a chilled out few days. Comfy beds. Clean inside but lots of cobwebs under the eaves which were distracting. Uber Eats delivers to the location which was a bonus. Beyond control of owner I appreciate but lots of flies and general bugs so maybe take a fly spray.
