A lovely 19th century detached barn conversion situated next door to the owner's property, on the edge of the charming market town of Long Sutton, 9 miles from Wisbech. Renovated and finished to a high standard throughout, the property offers comfortable, well equipped accommodation in a contemporary style. With warm and welcoming living quarters and a delightful enclosed private garden, allowing pets to run around freely and ideal for sitting out, relaxing and soaking up the sun, this is an ideal base for that relaxing holiday. Within walking distance of the town centre, The Barn is handily located for enjoying a variety of shops and pubs with the local pub, The Old Ship Inn, just a short stroll away. The area is perfect for dog walking, being close to Wash coast, an English nature site just a ten minute drive away, and also makes a great base from which to explore the three counties of Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
Situated in south-east Lincolnshire and close to the borders of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk is the charming small market town of Long Sutton. This settlement is full of architecturally interesting buildings including St Mary's Church, which dates from around1170 and boasts the highest wooden spire in the country. The town also boasts some fine examples of Georgian architecture. Every Friday there is a traditional town market with stalls run by local traders and close by is the renowned butterfly and wildlife park – repeatedly voted Lincolnshire's Family Attraction of the Year - which features an impressive tropical house filled with hundreds of butterflies. The bed was every comfortable. The owners Gary and Mandy were lovely too. We enjoyed the nearby pub The Ship and had a superb Sunday lunch there. We would definitely return to this accommodation, it would be lovely to come in the summer and use the BBQ facilities in the garden.

Alot of care has been taken in the decoration and finish of the accomadation with a well equipped beautifu kitchen. Immaculatly clean Cannot fault the property

We were met by Gary on arrival which was nice. Everything we needed in the kitchen and the rooms were spotless. We loved the wildlife garden which was a surprise as the pictures showed a large lawn. The location was close to Long Sutton which is a lovely little town. The only down point was the lounge was quite dark so we had to have the lamps on during the day and we were a bit chilly and couldn't quite work the radiators out (we mentioned this to Gary) but we would definitely stay again.
