Guests have praised the cottage for its spectacular views, peaceful surroundings, and cleanliness. The property is well-equipped, offering a cosy and inviting atmosphere, with special touches that enhance the stay. While the comfort of the sofa and a creaky bed were noted, these were minor points in otherwise glowing reviews.
The cottage is consistently described as very clean, with multiple reviews affirming its well-maintained state, contributing to a high score in this category.
The location is praised for its quietness, peacefulness, and easy access to attractions and market towns, indicating a high level of satisfaction among guests.
Overall, the cottage is seen as cosy and inviting. However, a single mention of an uncomfortable sofa and a creaky bed slightly lowers the score in this category.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the bathroom, and the property is considered well-equipped. The lack of an enclosed garden and a mention of a welcome pack are minor drawbacks.
Guests appreciate the 'extra surprises' and 'lovely touches', indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed, guests should note that such extras are a bonus rather than an expectation.

Our only issue was that we found the sofa to be very uncomfortable when sat watching TV!! Overall though-a great place to stay.

It had some lovely touches too. In a very quiet area which was exactly what we wanted and a great base to relax and get out and about. Personally I found the bed a little too soft but this is only an individual thing. We would definitely go back as it really felt like home.
Donna
A nice touch would be welcome pack which we love getting at other cottages which normally have milk for a brew on arrival after a long drive
