Cottage was lovely with comfortable furniture and it was well equipped - except for the hairdryer which we couldn't find. Village pub and stores were useful and nearby. The only drawback was the proximity of the busy main road. Not a lot can be done about this, though. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Gorgeous little property with a lovely garden. Very well equipped (although there was no hairdryer). But the property was like “chalk and cheese”, one side picturesque and rural and the other feet from the A18, which is definitely not rural. The A18 is an extremely busy road, 24 hours a day - lots of lorries, which did not adhere to the 30 mile an hour speed limit. Felt like they were passing by the side of the bed and even woke up scared a time or two not knowing what it was. I’m a light sleeper with Multiple Sclerosis, so sleep is very important for control of my symptoms. My husband is a deep sleeper but even his sleep was disturbed. There was definitely no lying in. A shame, a lovely property, with a good pub and restaurant within walking distance, but the road definitely took the edge off the holiday. Even considered not staying when we first arrived, but managed to cope with it.
