Situated opposite the village green and the river, this thoughtfully converted, semi-detached cottage, provides a lovely holiday base to relax or from which to explore the area. Good walks and cycle routes are all around and with the likes of Chatsworth House, The Peak District, Mansfield, Sherwood Forest, Nottingham and Newark all within a short drive there is plenty to see and do. There is a good selection of shops in the village and with the Jug and Glass public house next door there is somewhere convenient to enjoy the local beer and food. Shop ½ mile, pub 10 yards and restaurant 4½ miles.

Great break in a lovely cottage

Attention is needed to the rail on the very steep stairs as it is lose and starting to pull away from the wall.The water tank emersion does not heat the hole of the tank, the time we were there it only heated a quarter of the tank so to get really hot water to wash up had to boil the kettle.Great team in the pub next door which made our holiday.
