About this property
Set on the outskirts of the pretty village of Wellow is where you will find your home for special celebrations, which recently featured on BBC Two's 'Gone Fishing'. Head past the village cricket green and pretty fishing pond to reach the property at the top of a farm track. The rural location is surrounded by the ancient woodland of Sherwood Forest. There are two pubs in the village of Wellow along with good local restaurants and takeaways, with supermarkets, butchers, and banks all 1.5 miles away in New Ollerton. Visit the nearby Sherwood Forest. offering countless footpaths and forests to explore and blow off the cobwebs with some fresh air. There are two fantastic spas within a short drive if you would like to spoil yourself, and many outdoor pursuits such as paintballing and archery are available at the nearby parks.
The property offers a large central space for everyone to come together. There is a huge dining table seating 26. The kitchen/lounge offers all you need to rustle up a good meal including two electric ovens and a hob, two fridges, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Why not get someone in to prepare a perfect celebration meal, while you sit on the comfy sofas in the lounge area and chill watching the 88” Smart TV. After your meal head downstairs to the soundproof nightclub which boasts a fantastic juke box sound system and lighting and stage to let your hair down with good company. Here you can pull your own pints from our very own private bar. There are two separate WCs in the main barn for your convenience.
Headout of the main barn and into the courtyards, where you will find the bedrooms nestled next door to each other. There are 9 king-size bedrooms each with an en-suite shower room and WC, and 4 twin bedrooms each with en-suite shower room and WC. The master twin bedroom offers an en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower and WC. Each room is heated with underfloor heating, 55” Smart TVs. Finally, the pool complex includes a swimming pool and sauna.
Spend summer days lazing on the patio with plenty of outdoor seating and hot tubs. There is a drop-off point for easy access and a car park is situated a short walk away from the barns.

- Food - Breakfast, lunch and evening meal - why worry about feeding your guests, for an extra charge the concierge service can arrange all your meals, clear away the tables and do the washing up and even man the bar so you can relax and enjoy your event
- Private self catering venue - each event can be designed and tailored for you
- Complimentary breakfast on first morning of your stay is included, served between 8am-10am from the 5 star onsite kitchen/restaurant - the glass roofed barn. This exclusive offer is arranged directly with the owners prior to your stay. (Please note: the glass roofed restaurant is only available for your complimentary breakfast. It is not otherwise included in the holiday let facilities.)
- Day guests are welcome to come and enjoy your event, there is an additional charge of £25.00 per guest. Total numbers over 30 (including 26 in the accommodation) to make arrangements with the owner and will usually require hire of the banqueting hall to accommodate
