There is a shop and pub within 3 miles drive with the pub at nearby Farndon overlooking the River Trent where you enjoy refreshment as the motor cruisers float by.

Had a lovely peaceful stay at The Barley Store, the cottage is very clean, comfortable with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Ideal for our Labrador and my husband who has mobility issues found it easy to get around. We did have a bit of an issue with the thick gravel in the courtyard but appreciate that it isn’t marketed specifically as suitable disabled people. However we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
