Set on the owner’s farm, these beautifully renovated, semi-detached barns are ideal for holidaymakers that want to explore the area, as well as for more leisurely breaks with your feet up and the TV on. Surrounded by open countryside yet only a short drive to the A1, the properties are situated in a peaceful location, but still have easy access to nearby attractions such as Newark, which is famous for its International Antiques Fairs and showground. Lincoln is home to the New Magna Carta Centre as well as a stunning cathedral and castle, just 17 miles away, which is around a 30-minute drive. Fishing is available in the nearby River Trent and one of the local fishing lakes. Good walks and cycle routes (bike storage available) pass by the front door, and with the local pub just 1 mile, you can enjoy a pleasant meal and a drink in the evenings, before strolling back home. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

We were a family of 6 ages ranging from 65 to 96. The en-suite bedrooms were great for us older holiday makers. The Cottages was very well insulated & the underfloor heating kept us lovely & warm. The layout again was great for us. Travelling to the venue was fab as the venue is right off a main road that leads to major roads. There is a train track nearby & we enjoyed hearing & from the outside seeing the trains. The farm was immaculate & the beautiful cows really well cared for. The owners were kind caring & accommodating. The well stocked local shop was 5 mins away perfect for papers, meals & drinks. We will definitely holiday here again.
