Featuring a breakfast bar, a formal dining table and a wide range of equipment, the stylishly designed kitchen/diner is perfect for enjoying a celebratory meal together. The ground floor also has some useful drying spaces and the first of the property’s five peaceful bedrooms: a super-king-size room. The remaining four are upstairs: two en-suite king-size bedrooms, each with a double-ended claw-foot bath, and two twin rooms. There are also two handy shower rooms, one on each floor. Outside, the gardens feature large lawns and a woodland area with a stream trickling through. A raised terrace offers glorious views and makes a wonderful spot for outdoor dining.

Climbers can head to the peaks of Mellbreak and Grasmoor (both within 3 miles) or you can enjoy long walks around Loweswater, Crummock Water and Buttermere (all within 5 miles). Other local attractions include Whinlatter Forest Park, Scale Force Waterfall, the Lake District Wildlife Park and the bustling towns of Cockermouth and Keswick (all within 12 miles).
