Lodge was in decent order albeit with some random stuff in draws and wardrobe, instruction for oven are nowhere to be seen and it is an gas appliance!!! There was instruction for any appliance to be honest.There is an empty hairdryer box but no hairdryer, password for wifi in very small letters under the router and not in the welcome book but the worse thing is that we arrived at 7pm after a 4 hours drive and there is no heating or hot water!!!!! boiler has no water pressure and there was a little water leak from inside the boiler. Emergency number is only for office hours but Saturday is open, staff at the other end of the phone were brilliant, 5 stars to the lady that answer the call!!!!On our return at the lodge on Saturday evening we did a warm lodge with hot water!!!

A lovely cosy lodge on a lovely little site. The only down side was it could do with a abit of TLC. The sink in the on suite was blocked & the curtain poles in the lodge could do with fixing has they fell off when closing the curtains. The kitchen could have done with abit more of a clean.The beds was all very clean & comfy.

Backs right into the a575 with no gate and noisy all day. Dangerous for both animals or children and no access to amenities other than driving. The lodge itself was comfortable but wouldn’t stay there again due to location and main road for safety reasons.
