Visit England 4 Star.. 22 Rose Terrace is the perfect little cottage for couples seeking a romantic retreat and young families alike. The convenient location on the main road into Keswick mean it is easy to find and has great access to the towns amenities, also situated across the road from the River Greta and Fitz Park. The owners bought the cottage in 2013, when they renovated it from top to bottom and furnished it to a very high standard. The ground floor is open plan, with a modern kitchen and living/dining area with tiled flooring. The master bedroom is a generous size and is situated on the first floor next to the excellent family bathroom. Bedroom 2 is an attic bedroom and is accessed via a steep winding staircase with narrow steps, it is best suited to children although the beds are adult size. Well equiped and close to town (although on busy road) with good size bedrooms. Disgusting sofas - sticky arm rests and strong smell of wet dog. Need cleaning properly or replacing, not just trying to hide it by spraying with sweet smelling freshener. Had to cover them before sitting on them.

Excellent base for family holiday with 2 children.Close to amenities/shops.Only slightly adverse comment would be that there is only parking ( where available ) in surrounding streets. Warning not to park adjacent to any ‘dropped kerbs’ as you will get a parking fine!

Ideal cottage for couple with dog, close to park and plenty of walks, town centre and lake. Bed not as comfy as I’d like, but brought topper which helped somewhat and need to remember to take some fans in the summer as it was a hot week
