This apartment had several things against it:-a) We were warned there was no parking but what we hadn’t bargained for was an hour long search driving round and round all the car parks and local streets looking for somewhere, anywhere to put the car on a busy Saturday afternoon. Desperation was beginning to set in until we finally spotted a tiny not-really-a-space that we could just squeeze into. Even later in the week, parking spaces were like gold dust.b) From the pics we deduced that an apartment in an arcade might be subject to some noise. But in fact the flat is above a bar, with outside drinking space, that has live music acts on most of the week. Personally we didn’t really mind this but it could be a big problem for the unwary.c) Stepping into the apartment was like stepping into a 70s time warp. It was ok, but lacklustre - definitely tired and in need of some TLC. The arm chairs and sofa were particularly ‘interesting’ and deeply uncomfortable.Just really not our cup of tea.
