Please note: There is a stream, though fenced off, at the bottom of the garden.. This semi-detached bungalow has the best of both worlds, a semi-rural feeling but very close to the town centre. La’al Gem is the end property in a quiet cul-de-sac and consequently benefits from a larger garden and a degree of privacy. The owner provides a selection of games, and a badminton set for the garden. Walla Crag is easily accessed from the property, the lake is a 10-minute stroll and Keswick’s superb amenities are within a 2-minute walk.

Stayed here 4 times already, booked to come back in March. Absolutely perfect for local walks and very dog friendly. I honestly couldn’t imagine booking anywhere else. Always a bottle of bubbly waiting. One time I needed to contact the owner and within the next 30 minutes he had solved our issue and gave us extra bubbley as an apology, although one wasn’t really required. Perfect perfect perfect

This has been the 4th time we've visited la'al gem and never disappointed the only thing I would suggest is to get some new baking trays and maybe new cutlery (that's probably just me as I hate the ones with the plastic/bone handles) .Garden is huge for your furry friends.Cottages.com are brilliant aswell x
