Tynedale is a well-regarded cottage in Keswick, praised for its great location, comfortable beds, and spaciousness. The large garden is a hit with dog owners, and the proximity to town and parks is appreciated. While some guests noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the overall experience is positive, with many looking to return.
Cleanliness received mixed reviews. Some guests found the property clean and tidy, while others reported issues with dirty kitchenware, dusty surfaces, and pet waste in the garden. The inconsistency suggests room for improvement in cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised, with guests loving the short walk to Keswick town centre, the convenience of Fitz Park across the road, and easy access to local walks and attractions. The off-road parking is also a plus.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, particularly noting the cosy atmosphere and comfortable beds. However, some mentioned the lack of a TV in bedrooms and a small fridge/freezer as minor discomforts.
Facilities are generally good, with a well-appointed kitchen and a powerful shower. However, guests noted that some kitchen items were greasy, and there were suggestions for a larger fridge/freezer and additional mirrors.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

This is our third stay at Tynedale and we really enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's only a short walk into town which is perfect for us. The addition of a clothes rack would be helpful to hang up the wet clothes after a day on the fells. Our only criticism is the small fridge/freezer, we eat in and when staying more than a few days we run out of room.

A lovely cottage in a great location. The large enclosed garden is perfect for dogs. The cottage has everything you need for a holiday, is spacious and, the beds are very comfortable after a long day hiking. It's only a 10 minute walk into the centre of town with lots of shops, eating places and pubs and the park is directly across the road for the dog. Also, lots of walking from the doorstep.
