Guests appreciate the large enclosed garden, comfortable beds, and off-road parking, making it ideal for dog owners and families. The property offers a homely atmosphere and is well-suited for walkers. While some guests noted areas for improvement in cleanliness and minor maintenance, the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Reviews are mixed, with several guests finding the cottage clean and well-presented, while others mention issues such as dusty surfaces, greasy oven trays, dirty windows, and leftover food in pans. Some guests felt cleaning between stays could be more thorough, but bedding and towels were generally clean.

The location is consistently praised, with guests highlighting the proximity to Keswick town centre, Fitz Park, and local amenities. The setting is ideal for walkers and dog owners, offering easy access to both the countryside and town.

Guests frequently mention comfortable beds, a powerful shower, and a cosy, spacious interior. The cottage is described as warm and homely, contributing to a restful stay after days out exploring.

The cottage is well-equipped with most essentials, including a large garden, parking, and kitchen appliances. Some guests noted the fridge/freezer is small, and a few suggested additional kitchen items or minor maintenance improvements. The information folder was sometimes out of date but has been updated.

Some guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as a bottle of wine on arrival and a Christmas tree during festive stays. However, these gestures are not guaranteed for all guests.

This house is in the ideal place to stay in Keswick, so pleased with the location. House was comfy, great nights sleep every night.Lovely bathroom, great shower and bath. There were some bits could be improved instantly, which made it feel unloved, bare bulb with a bit of broken fitting in the main hall light, wierdly wonky hung pictures in bathroom, incredibly dirty windows, balls of fluff and cobwebs in corners so felt dirty. A lovely house which was amazing in some ways and needs a little bit more love
