This was a lovely secluded and cosy cottage. The owner was polite and considerate, despite having their own commitments. The views were great. There was a short commute to supermarket, but no local stores and bakeries.

Nice quiet location, cottage very old and needs few areas updating but has everything you need and it’s clean. Lovely and quiet for sleeping and getting away from busy areas. It’s about an hour or so to main attractions but only 30 mins to scarfell pike / area. Lovely walks everywhere just up the road. The owner is very friendly but the owner and family does have dogs running loose and one of ours is reactive rescue. Overall very nice stay.
