This space caters to both practicality and comfort. Two spacious double bedrooms await, each boasting sumptuous king-size beds adorned with plush linens, promising restful nights of slumber. A family bathroom completes the accommodation, featuring a walk-in shower.
Venture outside, and you’ll discover a haven of relaxation amidst the natural beauty. A wood fired hot tub offers a blissful soak under the open sky. It’s perfect for invigorating morning dips or stargazing sessions after dark. Beyond the cabin’s tranquil confines, a plethora of attractions and activities await within a 5-minute drive. Embark on scenic hikes along the rugged coastline of Seascale or Drigg beach which are a 5-minutre drive, or explore the enchanting hills surrounding Gorsforth, where panoramic vistas reward your efforts. Wastwater Lake is only 10-minute drive away too and well worth a visit.

There is stabling available by separate negotiation by contacting the owner if you would like to bring your horses, ponies and it is also dog friendly. The popular village of Gosforth has a local Italian restaurant, public houses which all serve good food with local produce. There are two public footpaths at Windhall Retreat which are a five-minute walk into the village of Gosforth.

This cabin and its location was just what we needed. It is set in an amazing location with views of the mountains and the sea, The cabin was lovely, warm and inviting, the log burner was a fabulous addition and the log burning hot tub was an experience, the dark sky offered a n amazing star gazing experience. Walks were on the doorstep and the pub only a pleasant mile walk. A location for everyone, hillls and beaches within a short distance. The hosts were friendly and welcoming can’t fault it. We will be back **

We would highly recommend.It really was a home away from home.Warm and welcoming, the views are stunning with sea too the right and scarfell pike too the left.The beach is close by, along with local amenities. The pub at the beginning of the lane service good food, which you could walk to. Or your could stay in and cook a meal to eat on the porch. The woodburing hot tub is an added bonus.Would definitely return.
