Guests loved the quiet, tranquil setting of Barn Roost, ideal for relaxation and as a base for exploring the Lake District. Some found it more remote than expected, but the peacefulness and proximity to walks and lakes were highly valued.
While bedding was often described as comfortable, several guests mentioned that the sofas and mattresses could be improved. The presence of uncomfortable furniture has led to a lower comfort score, despite the cosy atmosphere of the cottage.

Had a problem with no hot water. The issue I had was that when I wanted to report the issue ALL phone numbers provided were closed for the evening/ night. Totally unacceptable. Once I had reported it the next morning I was told it would be fixed thatday and when I came back in the afternoon it was. No problem once reported but there should be out of hours contact
