Perfect for what we were looking for! Lovely and characterful property that was immaculately clean and a safe space for the kids and dogs to be outside. The location is breathtaking and the silence of an evening is almost deafening broken by the odd sheep! If you want to get away from the noise and hustle of normal life then I’d 100% recommend.

Greenrigg Cottage is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed - equipped with everything you could possibly need, impeccably clean and so comfortable - the best beds I have ever slept in on a holiday -and in a beautiful location, which seems very isolated but is in fact in a very good position for exploring the Lakes.People in the nearby villages are very helpful and friendly and a Gold Star to the landlady of the Old Crown in Hesket Newmarket who went above and beyond one day when we were in a bit of trouble. An amazing holiday.
