Broughton-in-Furness 4 miles. A detached cottage on a working farm, located in the heart of the Duddon Valley in the stunning Lake District with beautiful fell walks available from the door. This comfortable cottage is located in beautiful surroundings with an abundance of wildlife to enjoy, ensuring a quiet and peaceful holiday. This Duddon Valley cottage has extremely spacious accommodation and is ideal for families and friends who wish to enjoy time together. This Duddon Valley cottage has one ground floor bedroom and two further first floor bedrooms. The large open plan living accommodation has a lovely woodburning stove, a farmhouse-style kitchen and a lovely dining area. There is also a conservatory with dining table with views across a gravelled area and the fells beyond. Outside is a patio area and, being surrounded by beautiful countryside, there is plenty of space to explore. The vibrant market town of Broughton-in-Furness is just a short drive away and has some lovely, traditional shops, plus excellent pubs. The pretty hamlet of Seathwaite is close by and this is the gateway up the quieter side of the Lake District, with the Hardknott Pass and Wrynose Pass both running out of the valley. Either side of the valley are stunning mountain ranges with lots of footpaths and bridleways to explore. This Duddon Valley cottage offers lovely accommodation in beautiful, peaceful surroundings in a quiet, rural location. Note: This property is near Ref. 26404, together they sleep 14.
Broughton-in-Furness is situated in the south of the Lake District, six miles from Coniston Water. The village has a square which is enclosed by shops, pubs and homes.
