Guests say

Yew Tree Cottage is highly praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and tranquil location. Guests enjoy the hot tub, scenic views, and dog-friendly environment. The property offers a peaceful retreat with comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches, although some mention a lack of phone signal and Wi-Fi.

The cottage receives consistent acclaim for its spotless condition and meticulous upkeep, contributing to a welcoming and hygienic environment.

The property is celebrated for its peaceful and beautiful setting, ideal for relaxation and walks, though the remote location and access road are noted by some guests.

Overall, guests find the cottage comfortable, especially the bed and living areas. However, there are a few remarks about an uncomfortable mattress and a skylight causing early morning light.

The cottage's facilities, including the hot tub, kitchen equipment, and underfloor heating, are highly regarded. Maintenance issues are minimal, with only occasional comments on minor repairs needed.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as a Christmas tree and welcome fizz, which enhance their stay. While these gestures are warmly received, they may vary and are not guaranteed for every visit.

A lovely hot tub to soak away the strains of the day. Wifi is intermittent but hey who needs to constantly go online when away from home. Bed is comfy but maybe the sofa needs replacing - not a great height for the tv or that comfy. We had snowfall that froze over so getting up and down the lane wasn't easy for us -- being in a van we had little space either side which normally would be ok, but when icy could be a tad iffy. We stayed put for a few days with our provisions and when ice started to melt and after hubby had done some chipping of the major icy areas and had put some grit down we were ok to leave. All in all though a great little place to stay

Booked for my partners 30th as a surprise and we were both blown away with the amenities, the views and the peace. Plenty of lovely walks around and a lovely village not too far with a very friendly pub. Both us and our dog Luna had the most amazing weekend - even if she hated the peasants!

Such a lovely setting and the cottage as before was very comfortable and provided everything we could need. A very relaxing cottage to unwind in after many long walks with our dog.
