The facilities, furniture and added extras were great. The beds were super comfy, lots of storage space and everything was clean and homely.

Nestled in the trees we saw a plethora of birds including nuthatches, tits, robins, blackbirds and even a woodpecker right on the balcony. Well equipped and cosy it’s clean and welcoming and the reviews in the guestbook are all positive. We enjoyed our stay.

It was let down by the site . The swimming pool closed at 3.45 and there were no locker keys to put your valuables. The cost to use it was £36 not £15 as billed in the lodge details. The shop was very basic for a site this size. Would recommend the lodge but advise people that the facilities on site need upgrading and maintaining. The staff seemed overwhelmed by their task but were friendly and helpful.
