On the outskirts of the friendly village of Windermere, this light and appealing property makes a wonderful holiday home for a family exploring the south eastern part of the glorious Lake District.

The bustling village of Windermere has a great choice of friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants, with the lake itself just a mile away. Here you can hire a boat, take a trip across Windermere on a launch, or enjoy a long walk along the shoreline. Brockhole on Windermere (3 miles north) is home to a historic house and gardens, with plenty of activities to take part in including a treetop trek, boating, kayaking, archery and mini golf. Other local attractions and landmarks include The World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness on Windermere (1 mile), the Lakeland Motor Museum near Ulverston (10 miles), the Lakes Aquarium near Newby Bridge (10 miles) and Beatrix Potter s former home at Hill Top (4 miles by steamer).

Entering this light and welcoming property, the fresh and relaxing lounge is a lovely space to unwind in, with a feature bay window allowing plenty of light in. An ideal space for relaxation at the end of a fabulous day, the lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating, a lovely open fire and a Smart TV. The dining room is a lovely space for you to all gather and chat about the day as you enjoy a favourite meal which you can prepare in the stylish and fully equipped kitchen, where you will find an electric oven and separate hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Going up to the first floor, there is the first of the property s three cosy and tastefully decorated bedrooms. This bedroom features original floorboards, plenty of storage space and a double bed. This room also has its own en suite shower room complete with a shower and WC. The main family bathroom is also on the first floor, with a shower over the bath and a WC. A final flight of stairs leads up to the second floor where you will find the two remaining bedrooms: there s a delightful twin room that has a mural depicting the Lake District skyline, while the single room has a spacious three quarter size bed.

Please note these bedrooms have low sloping ceilings. Stepping outside, you can unwind in the afternoon with a glass of wine or al fresco meal in the patio garden, the top part of which is enclosed. Parking is available for one car by the garden, with further on street parking to be found along the road. There s also secure storage space for bikes in the shed.
