Make your first port of call the kitchen, a cheerful area with plenty of space to prepare delicious meals and direct access to the rear garden. Visitors with kids or pets in tow will be keen to find that this garden is enclosed and offers a handy laundry room with washing and drying facilities. Back inside there’s a lovely dining room and a lounge, the latter of which is kept cosy thanks to an open fire. Get together and pick a favourite on the Smart TV to see you late into the evening. You’ll also be pleased to find that two double bedrooms on the first floor are both complete with Smart TVs, ideal for that added touch of privacy and lazy mornings spent lounging in bed.

Discover Grange Over Sands with its striking coastline and local golf club (1 mile) or take a short drive inland to Cartmel (2.5 miles) to find a famous racecourse and a Michelin star restaurant! For Lake District attractions make a beeline for the vast Lake Windermere (6 miles), perhaps stopping off at the Lakeland Motor Museum or the exciting Lakes Aquarium (both 2.5 miles).
