Guests say

Waingap is a beautiful and peaceful cottage with stunning views and a magical setting, ideal for a quiet retreat. Guests appreciate the comfy beds and the property's suitability for family and dogs, despite some restrictions. The location is perfect for walks and is close to great restaurants.

The property is generally clean but some guests noted issues with cobwebs, dirty skirting boards, and dust. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a consistent problem.

The location is highly praised for its beauty, quietness, and stunning views, making it a special place for guests. It is also appreciated for its proximity to good walks and restaurants.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the house cosy, especially over Christmas. However, some guests were surprised by the restrictions placed on pets, which affected their comfort.

The property is well-equipped and spacious, but some guests mentioned a lack of welcome pack and insufficient provision of essentials like toilet rolls. Maintenance issues like dust on beams and lampshades were also pointed out.

While some guests missed a welcome pack and felt that this would have been a thoughtful touch, there are not enough reviews mentioning gifts or additional thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category.

Have stayed here before Christmas for the last few years and we absolutely love it. It’s always warm and cosy when we arrive and is in such a beautiful setting. Our children love waking up and seeing the sheep grazing out of the window. We hope to stay again x
