We had a lovely stay in this lodge, it was spacious, clean and perfect for a family with a dog! The hosts kindly left us a bottle of wine for our arrival, along with some sachets of tea and coffee. The beds were super comfortable and warm and we slept great while we were there! It’s a downhill walk to the nearest pub which serve lovely food after 5, and a very short drive to Ambleside where there are plenty of shops to look around. I had to message the host on our last morning and he responded straight away, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be booking here again in the future!

Great lodge with everything you need. Peaceful place, good amenities and location. The only downside was some rubbish at the patio left by previous guests, lack of dishwashing liquid and greasy pans. So cleaning could be a bit better

We had a fantastic time. The lodge was more than we expected and the wine on arrival was a welcoming touch. We hope to be back one day!
