Brilliant Cottage and we can highly recommend it.Very Clean, Very comfortable beds, Everything you need is supplied, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, even dishwasher tablets are supplied.We didn’t need the heating but, the heating and hot water all work very well, there is a wood tuner in the fireplace with some wood to start you off if you require.Barbecue outside for you to use.There is a hotel restaurant Around the corner which has a restaurant and does takeout (mainly Pizza) and another pub a four minute walk up the road by Beatrix Potters house.A couple of minutes drive further along the road is another pub called the Cuckoo Brow in Far Sawrey. The menu is relatively small but all excellent, Ribeye steak is exceptional. They also do a Good Breakfast menu.

We were very impressed with the cottage and would go again. Nice touches included a good range of cooking utensils, pots, pans etc, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets etc. We felt that the photos on the website didn’t do the cottage justice.The only negative was the speed of the Wi-Fi which was only really able to cope with one person using it at a time and we needed to download programmes to watch rather than being able to stream. Having lived in the Lakes we suspect that this is due to the remote location rather than an issue with the router etc. We also noticed that the kitchen sink overflow pipe had become disconnected from the sink. Tried to fix this for you, but my hand was too big for the gap.
