Only 20 miles away, you will reach Bassenthwaite, a hidden gem that offers plenty of wildlife and birdlife to enjoy in the surrounding nature reserves. For keen hikers, the peak of Skiddaw overlooks the lake. The historic town of Penrith, less than 10 miles away, is also worth visiting to learn about the region’s culture and heritage or to explore the scenic Eden Valley.
Drop off your bags, park your car and walk through your private garden to reach the oak stairs that lead up to the front of this inviting property.
