Rowanburn Lodge, a detached lodge, is beautifully situated overlooking Duke’s Pond, in a small, private development located close to Greystoke, with many benefits such as free Wi-Fi and an outdoor decked area. The area is a haven for wildlife, including red squirrels, hares, roe deer and many species of birds. There is a red squirrel box on the decking with food for the friendly squirrels to feast on.
This holiday lodge is situated centrally between Keswick, Penrith, Carlisle and Ullswater making it an ideal location for exploring the northern Lake District and Cumbria. The countryside surrounding the lodge is unspoilt, with Greystoke Forest on one side and stunning views to Blencathra on the other. Nearby are the charming villages of Greystoke, Caldbeck and Hesketh Newmarket with their own pubs and local shops. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.

The perfect place to recharge your batteries . Clean , comfortable with everything you could need especially in the kitchen . Lots of outdoor space and the red squirrels are a joy to sit and watch . Close to the Lake District and Yorkshire , it is a great location to go exploring although you could just sit outside all day and enjoy the peace !

Lovely lodge had everything you could possibly need in a lovely quiet location. Deck is enclosed, not the garden if needed for pets, small children. Hope to stay again

We had a lovely holiday here with our two teenagers and our cocker spaniel. Great quiet location. Keswick only 25mins away which was great. The Lodge was super clean, had everything you could possibly need in terms of kitchen utensils, pots and pans. Beautiful wildlife at your doorstep. Red squirrels visited us daily, enjoying the nuts we got for them. Lots of birds. Would definitely recommend this lodge. Lovely to relax in the candlelit livingroom after day of walking and strolling around lakes. We will book again. Thank you
