Excellent little cottage located in the centre of Pooley Bridge. Everything was spotless, yes it’s a little dated but that’s what gives it the charm. Great idea to have double quilts on the single beds, as an adult sleeping in one of those beds and prone to taking the quilt with me when I turn over, I had no drafty incidents. Welcome pack of muffins, tea, coffee, sugar and milk was an added bonus. Wish we would have had the weather to sit out in the lovely garden area.

Fantastic little cottage, in a beautiful location. Local buses are excellent, and everything we wanted to do was within walking distance either directly from the cottage or local bus stop. The local pubs are excellent and everywhere is dog friendly. There’s a Pizza van ‘Hell Fire Pizzas’ just over the main road which is fabulous. Be warned though, when you’ve tried it, you’ll probably go back again. And again. The cottage itself is surprisingly spacious, and very comfortable throughout. Well equipped kitchen, with easy to use appliances. The welcome basket, plus milk in the fridge were a very nice addition. Highly recommend. We shall return.

Lovely bungalow in a beautiful location and very handy for walks, pubs and bus routes. The secure garden was brilliant for our dog. Just a couple of niggles the muffins left for us went out of date the day before we arrived and we could not get the shower or tv to work. Parking space is tight if you have a large car. We had a great break and if the niggles could be addressed then it would get 5 stars
