We stayed at this property as a family of 4, however it really should only be advertised for 2, 3 at a push. The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable futon ever to sleep on and to sit on! The bedding that was left wasn’t even a double so was difficult for two adults to share. Also the bedding was torn and seemed old. The house was covered in cobwebs and spiders. Dust everywhere, dirty floors and a full dust pan just left. A broken bin that didn’t shut so had to use carrier bags for food waste to avoid smells. I just don’t think the place had been cleaned properly in what felt like months. Also a broken lamp (main source of lighting) in living area. The pub is also a music venue which can be noisy on those nights and people running up and down outside the house, luckily our children were exhausted and slept through it. The best thing about the property was location.

Great digs, great location, great town, great time. It's self catering but Spar les than 50m away plenty cafes and pubs. It's at the back of the Druids Arms a small very friendly pub(no food) and central to all of Penrith's amenities. Great place. Parking outside the close is free but only for 1hr at at time but free from 6pm till 8am and Sunday. There is pay car park acros the road at bus station. I just felt I was always having to keep an eye on the car in the morning untill we were up and away. All in all it all worked out fine. .
