Enter the property up the few steps onto your own private decking, before stepping into the wonderful social spot of the open-plan living space; in the winter months, the electric fire awaits to warm you up after a day of rambling, bringing an extra homely aura to the room, while the decking makes the perfect place to soak up the sun with a refreshing beverage in hand in the summer.

Spend evenings unwinding in front of the Smart TV while you wait for your dinner to cook in the amply-equipped kitchen, home to a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and even a washing machine, it has everything you could want for a self-catered stay.

Gather around the dining table for an evening of family-fun board games, before retreating to one of the three bedrooms to rest your head; take your pick from a master double bedroom with its own en-suite basin and WC, and two equally delightful twins, all rooms boasting their own TVs so you can catch up with your favourite shows from the comfort of the covers.

Head towards the vibrant atmosphere and explore the waterside wonders of Bowness on Windermere, a popular town for watersports on its beautiful lake, here you can find plenty of charming waterside eateries too, perfect for those celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a night off from cooking. Windermere is also home to the impressive Brockhole House and visitors centre, where you will find Treetop Trek and nets for the more adventurous, historic gardens, an art gallery, gift shop and exhibitions, you can also catch a lake cruise from the jetty.

There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure in the local area too, with archery, kayak tours and laser clay shooting just being a few of many fantastic options, while a trip up to the summit of Wansfell is a must for the avid walker.

Troutbeck Bridge is a small village resting within the Lake District National Park, within close reach of Windermere and Ambleside, close to the renowned Kirkstone Pass.
