A short stroll from the cottage leads to the Windermere Marina Village and lakeside, where a ferry takes passengers and cars across Windermere to explore Hawkshead and the beautiful Grizedale Forest Park. With Coniston Water, Kendal and Keswick within easy reach, this is a great location, ideal for a romantic break in one of Britain's premier resorts.
Providing a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, the twin towns of Bowness and Windermere have an enduring appeal for many visitors to the Lake District. Boat trips are available from vibrant Bowness to Ambleside, as well as to the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. The flat was very easy to find our own parking space which is not easy to find in Bo'ness and a lovely location. We will definitely stay here again and the welcome pack was a lovely gesture. Thanks you.

I would prefer a blind in the bathroom but that is just my personal choice. Kitchen is really well equipped. It is in a great location with off road parking. We have booked this accommodation again for New Year.

The outside space could be made more inviting as it really is just a gravel patch. The dinner plates provided do not fit in the dishwasher. The Mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable, so far as to say it lead to very unsettled nights sleep leaving us far from refreshed and relaxed as you'd expect whilst on holiday.
