Guests say

This summary has been generated using feedback from guests who have stayed at this property

Oak Cottage in Windermere is highly praised for its prime location, high-quality furnishings, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the modern amenities, comfortable beds, and the property's cleanliness. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness oversights are mentioned, the overall experience is positive, with many guests willing to return.

Cleanliness

Most guests found the cottage clean and well-maintained, though there were a few mentions of specific cleanliness issues such as dusty skirting boards and a dirty oven tray. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

Location

The location is consistently described as excellent, with the property being in close proximity to local amenities and in a quiet, peaceful setting. It is a highlight for many guests.

Comfort

Guests frequently mention the comfortable beds and the overall comfort of the cottage. There were some comments about the need for additional hooks for convenience, but comfort levels are generally regarded as high.

Facilities

Facilities are well-regarded with high-spec equipment and thoughtful touches. However, points are deducted for reported maintenance issues such as problems with heating, a shower that wouldn't shut off, and a need for better upkeep of some items.
