Sumptuous safari tent, Muntjac has been beautifully built, furnished and curated to offer luxury glamping at its best. With three separate bedrooms, including a cute cabin room with fairy lights (think Harry Potter but much more magical) it also boasts a stylish shower room. This wood framed tent has touches of rustic wood throughout and just really exudes a calm and relaxing feel when you’re inside. Boasting a wood burning stove that is just perfect for those snuggly evenings, it is sure to be love at first site when you arrive to unpack your bags and leave the pace of modern life behind. There is also a decked seating area outside with a fire pit to relax around while enjoying an evening sundowner. The whole site is off grid, completely powered by solar energy, but don’t be fooled, here you will find all the modern conveniences needed for a great stay including Wi-Fii throughout.
The site also features another Safari Tent, sleeping six (Fallow, UK47397) lovely, light and airy lodge for two (Squirrel Lodge, UK47394) and a truly unique hideaway also for two (Fox Tiny House, UK47395) There are three acres of meadowland to unwind in and the site has been beautifully set up to ensure that there is lots of room between all the accommodations, emphasising that feeling of space and fresh air and creating a truly unique escape where you can experience the stresses and strains of everyday life falling from your shoulders.
This is the perfect place to relax around your fire pit and enjoy some stargazing, or to curl up and read that book you’ve been meaning to get to. But tear yourself away and you will discover yourself in the heart of Norfolk and perfectly placed to explore and discover all that this popular county has to offer. For nature and country pursuits, you will find Billingford Fishing Lakes, Mid Norfolk Clay Shooting and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve close by. Families will enjoy a trip to the nearby Dinosaur Park or to coastal Amazonia Zoo. In just under half an hour, you can be watching the pretty little fishing boats bobbing on the quay at Wells-next-the Sea, be Norfolk Broads side, chartering a day launch or joining a tour to drift along the famous waterways or in the fine city of Norwich strolling through the lanes and exploring the Norman Castle. Add in history and nature galore, a plethora of coastal habitats and so much more and you will be patting yourself on the back at making such a great choice for your holiday. And you get to enjoy it all from such a beautiful base too.

Had a great stay for 2 nights. Safari tent is beautifully equipped with everything you could need. There is an air fryer, fridge / freezer and a small oven with hob. Attention to detail with soft furnishings and lighting is great.Peaceful location but be aware the level of road noise is high. Take lots and lots of layers as we were very cold at night. Tried to light the wood burner on night one but couldn't find any kindling / newspaper etc so had to make do with the small electric heater. However on day two, we discovered that all the fire-lighting stuff was outside under a table, so we had a cracking fire going for night two.Had a delicious breakfast at Horkey Kitchen - 2 mins away.Spent a day at Wells next the sea - about 30 mins away.All in all, a great time away.

We had the best time at Hawthornes glamping. It was relaxing and perfect for our 4 year old and 1 year old to run around safely. There was great toys and board games in the safari tent and the outdoor kitchen and swings were a massive hit. The tent was equipped with everything we needed and was immaculate. We were so comfortable and Robin was at hand if we needed anything. My daughter loved the cabin bed and we loved having a fire pit in the evening. Some things we did whilst on our break:ROARRR adventure park was brilliant for the kids. Beans seal trips- an hour boat ride to do some seal spotting. Strawberry picking . Flow craft cafe for pottery painting. We highly recommend The Lodge for dinner too. We had incredible food there! We had such a fab weekend and this accommodation was absolutely perfect! Thank you.

Wonderful weekend stay at Hawthorns Glamping. The Safari tent was fabulous with all home comforts, (no tv), wood burner and is beautifully decorated. Days spent out the coast to return to enjoy our time relaxing, ending the day by the firepit looking up at the stars.
