Guests say

Kestrel Barn is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities, including a hot tub. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like welcome treats and find the property spacious and well-maintained. The location offers scenic walks, though some note limited local amenities and the need for caution when walking at night due to road safety.

Guests consistently report that Kestrel Barn is spotlessly clean, with several reviews highlighting the cleanliness of the property upon arrival. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.

The location is appreciated for its proximity to scenic walks and the town of Swaffham. However, some guests mention the lack of a pavement on the road and limited local dining options, which slightly affects the convenience of the location.

The comfort of Kestrel Barn is frequently commended, with guests finding the lounge furniture and beds very comfortable. The property is described as spacious and welcoming, although a few guests noted that some bedrooms were smaller than expected.

The barn is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and guests enjoy the hot tub and BBQ facilities. Some minor maintenance issues are mentioned, such as a missing teapot lid and a need for more hangers and hairdryers, but these do not significantly detract from the overall experience.

Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful gestures, such as welcome treats and useful local information provided. While these gifts are greatly appreciated, it is important to note that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed with every stay.

The house is very well appointed and very comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms. It does need a bit of work in places - a leaky bathroom ceiling, broken blinds and an unpleasant smell in the ensuite bathroom to the twin bedroom, but fairly minor in the grand scheme. Hosts were really lovely and left some nice treats for us all. The local town has everything you need by way of shops but nicer pubs are a drive away. It is a great location for exploring the area. The surrounding countryside and woodland is lovely.

A great choice! Fantastic communication from Aiden prior to arrival, the Barn itself is perfect, it has been finished to a very high standard throughout, the kitchen was one of the most equipped from places I have stayed. The lounge furniture was very comfy, which cannot be said for many holiday lets. The linen and towels were very good quality. There are footpaths just outside the barn, for a good walk and it is very close the Peddars WayMy only concern, was the road and lack of pavement, meant you could not walk safely in the dark. There is not much choice for pubs for food in Swaffarm itself, Red lion was fantastic and very reasonable. We would not hestiate to stay again
