A private bridge takes you to the shared gardens, where ducks and chickens roam freely and horses can be seen grazing in their paddocks. This lovely Necton cottage is centrally located for exploring Norfolk, being within easy travelling distance of Thetford Forest, Snetterton raceway, RSPB nature reserves, NT properties, award-winning gardens and many sporting facilities. We had no one in the apartment upstairs so it was particularly quiet. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Good sized shower cubicle. Private bit of garden. Good location for touring. We went to Norwich, Ely, Wells-next-the-sea,Blickling Hall and each was around 40-60 minutes driving through lovely countryside.

So nice to be able to totally relax in such lovely surroundings. The accommodation was first rate and Tony, the proprietor, was very friendly and always helpful. Just the setting to get away from it all. This was our two dogs first holiday and they loved it.

A great location from which to explore North Norfolk. The cottage was perfect, comfortable, very clean, warm, well equipped and highly recommended. We were made to feel very welcome and will hopefully return.
