A superb semi-detached cottage which was built in 1862 with modern fixtures and fittings. This cottage in Norfolk features a fabulous first floor beamed bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a high quality sitting room with a warming optimist flame effect woodburner. Step outside and make use of the soothing hot tub as you reminisce about the day's adventures. Note: This cottage is next to Refs. 26163 and 26593, together they sleep 10.
Saham Hills is a small village near to Watton in Norfolk. Just eight miles away is Swaffham and Thetford Forest is nearby.

Facilities for dogs excellent with a paddock to run in and enjoy. Shops situated locally for convenience and the hot tub was a welcome source of relaxation. Very quiet, peaceful area, near to Thetford Forest. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen well equipped and v.clean my only critique would be the lounge area that is dark, a little tired and would benefit from a refresh (off putting dog smell ingrained in furniture/furnishings). Could be more pleasant if sofa changed to leather (less absorbent), rug removed (existing wood floor easy to sanitise) and curtains/cushions replaced OR more regularly washed/dry cleaned (low cost, big benefit).

Karen was extremely welcoming and helpful when we arrived to ensure we settled in ok. It is the most dog friendly place we have ever stayed, it was absolutely dogs welcome rather than tolerated which we loved. The Dairy itself was well equipped and just a really lovely space. The hot tub was fantastic and a real bonus, with the really simple booking system although we never had any issues getting in when we wanted. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back for a return visit.
