Stockman’s Cottage offers peace and tranquillity with stunning interiors and attention to detail, in a truly lovely rural setting. On the outskirts of the village of Foulsham, it is close to Burnham Market, Holt, Norwich and just 25 minutes from the coast.

Featured in Country Living Magazine, this delightful cottage has two characterful bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large living area. Detached and with it’s own enclosed garden, Stockman’s Cottage has charm in abundance, with an inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, oak beams throughout and plenty of room to spread out and relax.

Set in the grounds beside the farmhouse of Westfield Farm and located on the outskirts of the village, in a truly lovely rural setting. This cottage is also in walking distance to a good village pub serving food. Foulsham is delightful and is the perfect location to explore all things Norfolk! Close to Burnham Market, Holt, Norwich and miles of perfect sandy beaches, and some of the finest bird watching and seal trips in the country. Just up the road is Pensthorpe Gardens and Nature Reserve where BBC filmed ‘Spring Watch’ 3 years running. There are seven Stately Homes in easy reach as well as a wonderful ‘family owned’ hidden village — one of only 12 in the country. The property was nice, but very close to the main house. We had to keep the blinds down so as not to be looking straight in - which was a shame as this was the sunny side. Your photo is misleading as there is no access to that area of the cottage any more. The location was not quite as peaceful as we were hoping - the road just beyond the garden fence was pretty busy and carried a lot of lorries which we are not used to living in a rural location ourselves! To be honest, we have stayed in cleaner properties as well - the cobwebs in the vaulted kitchen were pretty gross and the bedroom floors had just been swept under furniture. The owner was lovely though and his information folder was excellent. Also, the provision of OS maps was a real bonus
