This stylish holiday retreat sits on the edge of the pretty seaside village of Winterton-on-Sea. The spacious property sleeps four guests and is perfect for couples or families looking to explore Norfolk’s beautiful east coast. You’ll be within 10 miles of the popular resorts of Caister-on-Sea and Great Yarmouth or heading inland you can discover the breathtaking waterways of The Broads.

The converted barn has been decorated in a contemporary style, carefully combining original features with modern creature comforts. The accommodation is arranged across one level, and the main living area comprises an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a vaulted ceiling, exposed trusses, and plenty of natural light. At one end is a sleek kitchen area, where you can rustle up delicious meals to share around the wooden dining table. After dinner, unwind on the comfortable sofa to watch the Smart TV. The property has a king-size bedroom with a fabulous exposed stone wall, and a cosy twin. A family bathroom completes the accommodation. From the living space (or the twin bedroom), French doors open onto the enclosed garden, which features a patio, lawn, outdoor furniture, and BBQ.

Winterton-on-Sea (0.5 miles) is a charming village, with thatched cottages and impressive floral displays. The village has a friendly pub, along with a local shop and a fish and chip shop. The beach here is wide and sandy and rarely gets busy. Just 5 miles along the coast is Horsey Gap, which is home to one of the largest colonies of grey seals in the UK. If you’re visiting in winter months, be sure to head along to the viewing platform to see the adorable seal pups. For a day on the water, journey to Wroxham in the heart of The Broads to hire a boat or join a river cruise.
