The village of Scratby has excellent local amenities, including two supermarkets, tea rooms, fish and chip shops, a launderette, hairdresser, and a regular bus service to Caister and Great Yarmouth. There are a number of local attractions in the area, including Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, the Caister Castle Motor Museum, National Trust properties and the Norfolk Broads, and further afield is the historic city of Norwich. At the nearby beach you may be lucky enough to see a seal swimming by along the sea, you can also visit Horsey Gap which is around a 15 minute drive away and you’ll be able to see a seal colony basking in the sun. This lovely chalet is in a convenient location for exploring the area and has the added benefit of an on-site swimming pool (payable locally), which is sure to delight any younger guests.

Scratby is a coastal village resting within East Anglia, just 5 miles away from Great Yarmouth. This is a quiet resort along the coastline, where you will find a couple of eateries and a shop for picking up the essentials. Head to the beach where you will find opportunities for relaxing, sunbathing, cycling or walking. Venture slightly further to Great Yarmouth, where you will be delighted to find a traditional seaside resort.
