Apple Tree Cottage is nestled in the heart of West Norfolk.  Set back from the road, the cottage is peaceful and private.  It's perfect for couples or families and do bring the dog!  There is a footpath in either direction from the door and you can walk miles without crossing a road.  A short drive will take you to a number of beaches, shops, pubs, restaurants, stately homes (Sandringham and Houghton are both just 10 minutes drive) Brancaster beach is also 10 minutes drive, Hunstanton just 15 minutes away with boat trips, beach, fish and chip shops, arcades and more.  In the other direction there are quaint villages and towns such as Burnham Market and Holt with boutique shops, tearooms and pubs. Norfolk really does have something for everyone and Apple Tree Cottage provides the perfect base to come home to each night and watch the sunset from the hot tub. We can't wait to welcome you.

Built in 1900, Apple Tree Cottage has stood the test of time, it is set back from the road with plenty of space to park and turn around. There is an EV charger for guests use for an additional £8 per night.

The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen for nights in and is very well located for nights out, you will be spoilt for choice for good pubs and eateries in the area. You can walk to the village pub which is about a mile from the cottage.

The living/dining area has a tiled floor, comfy 4 seater sofa and tub chair with coffee table. Space for the dog, TV and open fireplace. There is a table for 5 and the stairs lead off. There is a stair gate, high chair and travel cot in the cottage if you need them.

From the living/dining area is the hall with shower room and then master bedroom beyond. This has a large built in wardrobe for hanging storage, TV, king sized bed with bedside cabinets and patio doors leading out onto the patio.

Outside is a very private patio area with hot tub, bbq, outside seating and umbrella shade for those sunny summer days.

Upstairs are two cosy bedrooms, one twin room with two single beds and one single room with one single bed. Both have views out across the fields and child safe window locks on to prevent the large windows from opening wide. Both windows have one large opening window and one top window light which can be opened too for some Norfolk air.

The local area has everything from Country houses - Holkham and Houghton, to farmers markets - Creake Abby and Docking. Town markets - Lynn and Fakenham. Tourist attractions - Pensthorpe, Watatunga, Bewilderwood, Snettisham Park to name a few - plus Apple Tree Cottage owners run Bircham Windmill for which entry is free for cottage guests - your voucher will be in your cottage when you arrive. The windmill can be seen across the fields and there is a lovely footpath walk to the mill which is about 1.5miles.
