The owners have endeavoured to think of everything to ensure guests will want for nothing. The light and airy living areas both overlook and allow access into the garden - ideal when the weather permits and al fresco dining is the order of the day. A well-equipped modern fitted dining kitchen and a dual aspect spacious and light-filled sitting room boasts extra warmth from a wood burning stove during cooler months of the year. What a marvellous bolthole Horatio Cottage is! Wonderfully clean, warm and cosy and such a wonderful bed. The short walk to the village was ideal when you want to pop out for a coffee. We explored Hunstanton, Brancaster, Holkham and Wells beaches. The dogs loved the sand in their paws. Some of our favourite places to eat: The Norfolk Deli - Hunstanton Magpie Bakery - Wells Tuscan Farmshop - Burnham Market Old Bank - Snettisham Wells Crab House Socious - Burnham Market Not forgetting fresh fish from Guerneys. Breakfast at Thornham Deli.

Second time at Horatio Cottage and still FAB! Home from home, everything you need. The bungalow is a superb base. So quiet and peaceful and we slept a regular nine hours and woke to bird song. Tuscan Farm Shop still best coffee and cake in Burnham Market. Best pub and food easily The Hero in Burnham Overy Staithe. Best fish and chips French's in Wells. And special treat (must book) is the Crab House platter in Wells. Fabulous. We will return.

We had a great week staying at Horatio Cottage! We went out to eat (many times) at The Hoste, Number 29, Flour Pizza in Wells and also fish and chips from Wells. For dog walks we went to Holkham Hall and beach, Brancaster, Wells beach and in Burnham Market. We also managed to watch the whole season of Traitors! We loved playing cards (you can find in a drawer in the living room) and loved how boardgames were provided. The cottage had everything you need, and we enjoyed the gift basket we had upon arrival. Eddie loved the dog treats and we all loved the jam (especially me!). We used the fire most nights and it was a very nice touch. Thank you.
